We run Kic Food Products, and it is usually a very busy operation for everyone involved. We do not have a traditional street address listed like most other businesses; we are just known hindi and englis around this part of town. It is a bit unusual for a company, but people in the area seem to find us well enough when they need to. We spend most of our time in the production area dealing with various ingredients and making sure the packaging is done correctly. The smell of whatever food we are making that day usually fills the whole building and the street outside. It is hard work, and the floors are always being cleaned to keep things tidy. We have a small team of local workers who have been with us for a long time. We use both Hindi and English in the office to make sure everyone understands exactly what needs to be done. There is always a lot of noise coming from the mixing machines, so we often have to shout a bit to be heard. We do not have any big marketing people or fancy suits working here. We are just regular people in aprons trying to make good food products that people will want to buy for their families. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we all have to help get it running again.
