We have been here at Amrit Plaza for a while now. It is on the second floor, unit 12, right in the middle of Surya Nagar. Most days it is pretty busy around here, especially in the evenings when everyone comes out to the market. Ghaziabad can get quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the glass. People usually find us after wandering through the complex for a bit. It’s not a huge place, just enough room for what we need to do. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit by the door where there is a little light from the hallway. We don't really have a big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door so people know they found the right spot. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when it gets crowded. We keep the stock in the back corner because the front needs to be open for people to walk around. It isn't like those fancy malls you see in the city center, but it works for us. Usually, someone from the shop next door comes over for tea around four o’clock. We talk about the weather or how the road outside is being dug up again. Most of the people who come in live right here in Surya Nagar. They know us and we know them. It is just a regular shop trying to keep things moving.
