We’ve been tucked away in East Delhi Mall for quite some time now. Our spot is at number 34 on the first floor, which is pretty easy to find once you get inside. If you look out the main doors, you can see the Anand Vihar ISBT right across the road. It’s always busy around there with all the buses coming and going from Kaushambi. Some days the mall is packed with families and other days it’s just us and the cleaners in the morning. We don’t have any fancy decorations in here, just the stuff we need to get through the day. The air conditioning works most of the time, though it struggles when the sun hits the front glass in the afternoon. I usually spend my mornings checking lists and making sure the shelves aren't a total mess. My desk is in the back corner where it’s a bit quieter. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a local business doing its thing in a crowded part of the city. Sometimes the lift breaks down and people have to take the stairs to find us. It’s just how it is in this building. I’ve lived around here for years, so the noise of the traffic outside doesn't even bother me anymore. We just open up, do the work, and head home like everyone else. It’s a bit cramped when we get a shipment in, but we manage somehow.
