Fashion Waves

Our workplace is located at 20-6-13 in the Industrial Area of Sector 4. It is a typical industrial unit, so it is more about getting the work done than looking pretty. There are always a lot of trucks moving around this part of Sector 4, so it gets a bit noisy outside during the day. Inside, we have our whole setup for making different kinds of garments. It is a large space with high ceilings which really helps when it gets hot during the summer months. We have a few rows of long tables where all the cutting and packing happens. Most of us here have been working together for a long time. It is not the kind of place that has a fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. You just walk in and see everyone busy at their stations. We handle a lot of heavy boxes every single day. Sometimes the delivery vans block the main entrance, but we usually manage to move things around. The floor is just plain concrete and we have to keep some heavy-duty fans going most of the time to stay cool. It is a very straightforward operation. We do not spend much time on computers, mostly we are on our feet moving around. The Industrial Area stays busy, especially on Monday mornings. We try to keep a steady pace throughout the whole week. There is a small break room in the back for tea. It is a simple life here at 20-6-13.
