Fashion Butik

Fashion Butik is my small shop located in Amrit puram Gama ist, right in the Greater Noida area near New Kalka Garhi. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself and I knew a bit about clothes. It is not a very big store, just a simple room with some racks and a couple of sewing machines in the back. Most days, I am here from ten in the morning until the sun goes down. The street outside can get quite dusty, so I have to clean the front every couple of hours. People from the nearby houses come in when they need something fixed or if they want a new outfit for a wedding. I don't really have a fancy way of talking about what I do. I just try to make sure the stitches are straight and the fabric doesn't tear easily. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to sit outside on plastic chairs until it comes back. It gives me a chance to talk to the neighbors. We don't have any big advertisements or shiny posters. Usually, people find us just by walking past or because a friend told them we were here. It is a lot of work and sometimes my back hurts from sitting at the machine for too long. But it is my own business and that makes me happy enough to keep coming back every single day.
