Baldev Cloth House

We have been operating out of F-130 in the Municipal Gole Market for a long time. Being right by Ghanta Ghar means we hear the clock all day long. It is an old part of town and the market is always full of people looking for a bargain. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve got our own way of doing things. We sell all kinds of cloth, mostly stuff that people use for everyday wear. The space at F-130 is narrow and the shelves go all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a ladder to get the things from the top, which can be a bit of a workout. There isn't any fancy decor here. We just have the counters and the cloth. We don't spend money on advertising because the foot traffic in Gole Market is enough to keep us going. Some days it is so hot that we just sit near the entrance to catch a breeze. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Ghanta Ghar, and it feels like a small community. Dealing with suppliers and checking the quality of the shipments is what fills our hours. It’s a simple business without any hidden extras. We just provide the material and let the customers decide what they need. It’s been that way since we opened.
