It’s a rural spot and we spend most of our time out in the sun rather than sitting behind a computer screen. Vijay Bhan Singh has been here a long time and he let us use his place as the main address for our producer company. We started this because we needed a way to come together as farmers. We don't have a lot of money for big decorations or professional staff. It’s just us and whoever is around to help out with the tasks for that day. The area around Tikri is beautiful but the work is hard. We deal with the crops, the pests, and the ever-changing prices at the local markets. Sometimes we meet under the shade of a tree to discuss what we are going to plant next season. It’s a very simple way of doing things, but it’s real. We don't use big words or try to sound like we are from the city. We are just people from Muradeo trying to help each other out with the farming business. The paperwork can be a headache sometimes and we aren't always the fastest at answering messages, but we get the job done. If you walk down to Vijay’s place, you’ll likely see some of us drinking chai and talking about the rain.
