Bajarangi Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over at Plot No-529 in Samaraipurgelpur. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but this is where the land is good. We are a collection of farmers who decided to put our names together on some paperwork to make things official. Most of us have been farming in Samaraipur for our whole lives, just like our fathers did before us. We don't have a fancy headquarters or anything like that. Plot 529 is where we gather to talk about the price of grain or why the insects are bad this year. It's an honest living, even if it doesn't pay much some seasons. We don't use any of those slick marketing phrases you see in the city. We just grow what the soil gives us. Gelpur is a small place and news travels fast, so we try to do right by our neighbors. We handle the planting, the weeding, and the harvesting ourselves. When we aren't in the fields, we are trying to figure out the best way to move our produce so it doesn't just sit around. It is a lot of physical labor and a fair bit of worrying about the rain clouds. We don't have much in the way of a formal history, just a lot of years spent outdoors in the sun. That is who we are, just people from the village trying to make a go of it. We stick together through the tough months and share what we have.
