New Dadri Progressive Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of a small space on the first floor, number 177, in Gandhi Nagar. It is not the easiest place to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know where we are. We spend most of our time dealing with the practical side of farming. It is a lot of paperwork sometimes, which none of us really like, but it has to be done to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We are just a group of people from Dadri who saw that farmers were struggling to get their crops to the right buyers. So, we set up this office to help coordinate things. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, and it gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and get to work. Most mornings start with someone bringing in news from the fields. We talk about what’s growing well and what isn't. Gandhi Nagar is a busy area, so there is always noise outside, but inside we just focus on the task. We don't use any fancy language or make big promises we can't keep. We just try to help the guys who are actually out there in the dirt every day. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down.
