Up Satyam Farmer Producer Company Limited

This group is based out of Haidergarh in the Barabanki area. We are located over at Ashok Kumar’s place in Beri Saraykayasthan. It is a local setup where a bunch of us farmers came together to handle things like selling crops and getting supplies without having to go through too many middle people. Barabanki is a good spot for this because everyone around here grows something. The office is really just a room where we keep the registers and meet up when there is something to talk about. Usually, we are out in the fields or at the market anyway. Ashok helps keep things organized. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. We have some plastic chairs and a desk. We talk about the weather and the prices and what needs to be planted next. Being a producer company means we are all in it together. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much with all the government rules, but we try to keep up. If you are coming from the main road in Haidergarh, you have to ask for the Saraykayasthan area. It is a quiet spot most of the time. We aren't doing anything flashy, just trying to make sure the farmers get a fair shake for the hard work they do. Most of us have been farming here for our whole lives. That’s just how it is in this part of Uttar Pradesh.
