Shri Keshav Krishna Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Tanda, in the Kothi Fatehullah Gunj area of Sambhal. We're part of the Moradabad region here in Uttar Pradesh. Sompal Singh is who we coordinate through. Our group is mostly just neighbors and friends from around the village. We all grow different things, but we realized that if we worked together, things might go a bit smoother. It's not a fancy business with big offices. Mostly we meet at the house or out by the fields to talk about the harvest. Sambhal is a busy place for farming, and we try to stay on top of what’s happening. We don’t have much use for slick talk or big promises. We just know that the land needs tending and the crops need to be sold at a fair price. Some days the sun is too hot and other days it rains too much, but that’s just farming. We started this because we wanted to have a bit more say in how our produce is handled. It’s been a lot of work getting everything organized, but it’s better than before.
