Shri Durga Marble

Our place is at 2398 G B Road, which is a part of town that never really sleeps. It’s an old building and the street outside is usually packed with carts, rickshaws, and people moving goods. Inside, we have stacks of marble and tiles leaning against the walls. It’s a bit dim in the back, but we have enough light to show off the colors of the stone. We’ve been at this address for a long time, and the walls are a bit stained from years of work. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy brochures. Instead, we just show you the actual slabs we have in stock. Dealing with marble is heavy work, and our backs usually feel it by the end of the day. We have a small desk where we keep all the accounts and paperwork, usually tucked under a pile of catalogs. The neighborhood is loud and dusty, but that’s just the nature of G B Road. We deal with all sorts of customers, from people doing up a small flat to builders who need a lot of material at once. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we sell. It’s just solid stone that’s been pulled from the earth. We'll talk about the price and tell you honestly how much we have left of a certain batch. It's a busy life here among the stone.
