Our shop is located at C 101 in Andrews Ganj, right along Khel Gaon Marg. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of traffic hum in the background while we work. We have a decent-sized space filled with marble slabs of all different sizes and origins. It gets a bit dusty inside because of all the stone, but we try to keep the main display pieces clean so you can see the natural patterns. Working with marble is a slow process; people usually come in several times before they decide on exactly what they want for their floors or counters. We understand that, so we don't try to rush anyone. We just walk around with them and answer questions about where the stone came from or how thick it is. The shop has a high ceiling which helps keep it a bit cooler, but it’s still tough work when we have to move things around. We use some heavy equipment for the loading, and that makes a bit of a racket. It’s just a normal day-to-day business for us. We've got our regulars and we see new faces every week. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a practical place where we deal in stone. We like being in Andrews Ganj and seeing the city change around us. There is always something interesting happening out on the main road while we sort our slabs.
