Shree Vaishno Marble

Our yard is located on the Baroula Main Dadri Road in Sector 49. If you’re looking for us, we are right across from the Radha Swami Satsanf Bhawan. It’s a big open space because marble takes up a lot of room. We have slabs of stone leaned up against each other everywhere. It’s very dusty work, and we all end up covered in white powder by the end of the day. We spend a lot of time moving these heavy pieces around with the crane or just by hand when we have to. It’s heavy, back-breaking work sometimes. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned office to sit in. We’re usually outside with the stone, showing people the different patterns and colors that come in the trucks. Every piece of marble is a bit different, so we spend time looking at the veins and the cracks. Sometimes a slab breaks while being moved, which is always a bad day. But that’s the nature of working with stone. The road outside is always busy, and the noise of the traffic is constant. We’ve been at this spot for a good while now. People know us as the marble place on Dadri Road. We just show up every morning, unload the new arrivals, and help whoever walks in. It isn't glamorous work, but seeing the stone stacked up nicely at the end of the day feels good. We just keep at it and hope the trucks arrive on time with the next load.
