Shreeatal Samriddhi Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in Kariyakala, near the Bhadiwar post office in the Bara area of Allahabad. We are based at Kapil Dev Singh’s place. It’s a quiet village area, and that’s where we do all our work. We are a group of farmers who realized we could do more if we joined up. The name sounds a bit official, but we are just regular people from the neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate office or a fleet of trucks. Most of us have been farming these lands for generations. We deal with the usual stuff like wheat and rice, and whatever else grows well in this soil. Being in Bara, we have to deal with the local climate, which isn't always kind. We use this company to help us get supplies and to find better places to sell our harvest. It’s more of a community effort than a business, really. We don't use much marketing talk because we don't need to. Everyone knows who we are around here. We just try to keep things moving. Sometimes the bureaucratic side of things is a headache, but we help each other out with it. It’s all about making sure the small farmer doesn't get left behind. We stay grounded and focus on the work that needs doing every single morning. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way.
