S.D.C.C. Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is called S.D.C.C. Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located at Moti Lal’s place in Kosadakalan, which is in the Manda area of Allahabad. It’s out in the countryside of Uttar Pradesh. We’ve been living and working in this region for a long time. The company was set up to help us manage our farming activities together. It's not a corporate setup with a lot of employees. It's mostly just the farmers themselves doing the work. Moti Lal is kind enough to let us use his space for the official address and to keep our documents safe. Being in a place like 212104, you get used to a certain way of life. We focus on our crops and how to get them to the market without losing too much money along the way. We don't have a big marketing budget or anyone to write fancy reports. We just write down what we sell and what we buy. It’s honest work. Sometimes we meet under a tree to talk about the next season. The local community knows us, and that’s enough. We deal with the daily struggles of farming, like water and pests, and try to support each other. It's a simple arrangement that works for us. We aren't looking to change the world, just to make sure our farms in Manda keep producing and our families stay fed and taken care of.
