R.K. Leaf Printing

You can find R.K. Leaf Printing over at C-363 in Sector-10. It’s a pretty standard industrial block, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We’ve been set up here for a while now, focusing on the leafing work which is basically putting gold or silver foil onto different materials. It’s a bit of a specialized job and it requires a steady hand and a lot of patience. The shop floor is usually covered in little bits of shiny foil that we can never quite sweep all the way up. We have these old manual machines that we trust more than the new digital ones because they have a better feel for the pressure. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the rolls of foil and the stacks of customer orders, but we make it work. The lighting isn't the best, so we use these bright desk lamps to see the fine details. We don't have a fancy reception area or a website that looks professional. Most of our customers just hear about us from other people in the trade. We just drink our tea, do the printing, and hope the machines don't break down on a busy day. It's just a regular job for us and we take it one day at a time. The neighborhood is mostly other small workshops like ours, so there’s a lot of noise and people working hard all around us.
