We work out of H-1 in Sector 9. This is an industrial area, so it’s full of warehouses and workshops like ours. We do a lot of printing on flex material and polyflex banners. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell of the printing ink, which is quite strong. The machines are large and they make a constant rhythmic noise when they are running. We have rolls of plastic and fabric stacked up to the ceiling in some places. It is not a retail shop, so we don't get many random people walking in. Most of our work comes from businesses that need signs or promotional banners made. We spend our days checking print files on the computer and then making sure the machines are running correctly. The floor is concrete and often has bits of scrap material or ink stains on it. We are a small group of people and we've been working at this location for several years. Sector 9 can be quite dusty with all the trucks moving around, but it's a good place for this kind of industrial work. We don't have a fancy reception area, just a couple of chairs near the front door. We mostly focus on getting the orders out on time. It’s a busy environment and there’s always something being printed or loaded onto a truck. Usually we stay quite late into the evening to finish a run of banners.
