Rajani Sewing Machine Works

Rajani Sewing Machine Works is over at C 137 in Sector 10. We have been working out of this spot for a good while now. The shop is mainly focused on the technical side of sewing machines. We do a lot of repairs and maintenance for people in the neighborhood. Sector 10 is more of a quiet industrial area compared to some others but there is still plenty going on. Inside the shop you will see shelves lined with various parts like bobbins, needles, and belts. There is usually a machine or two taken apart on the main workbench. We take pride in knowing how to fix the older models that many people would just throw away. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We have a small bench outside where customers can sit and wait if the repair is a quick one. The sunlight comes in through the front door in the afternoon and makes the place feel warm. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy displays. The machines themselves are the main focus. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. Someone’s machine starts acting up and they tell them to come see us at C 137. We just do our best to get them back to work quickly. It’s a small shop but it’s ours and we like the steady pace of things here. It's just a regular part of the Sector 10 community.
