This whole thing is run out of Omvir Singh’s place in Vill and Post Paintkhera. We’re out in the Agra district, far enough from the city that it feels quiet. Being the Omvir Singh Farmer Producer Companylimited means we focus on what’s happening right here in our own fields. The soil in 283126 is what we know best. We spend most of our time worrying about the water and the seeds. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of sweat and dust involved every single day. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. If you want to talk to us, you just come down to Paintkhera and look for Omvir. We deal with the local farmers because they are our friends and family. Everyone knows everyone else around here. We handle the selling and the buying and the storage, trying to keep it all organized. Some days the paperwork gets a bit confusing, but we manage. Agra can be a tough place to farm when the heat kicks in, but we’ve been here a long time. We aren't looking for awards or anything. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the crops get where they need to go. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way.
