We’re located at C/O Banshidhar 1, Sherpur Saranwa Khanpur in Sitapur. The Nanhi Agro Farmer Producer Companylimited is basically just a group of us from around the 261207 area who decided to work together. Sitapur is a good place, but farming here takes everything you’ve got. We aren't interested in being a big name or anything like that. Our setup is very simple. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone sorting through paperwork or talking on a mobile phone to a buyer. It’s not very organized some days, with stuff piled up on the desks, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time out where the actual work happens, not sitting behind a desk. We talk about the soil, the water, and how to get the crops to market without losing too much value. It’s a constant struggle, to be honest. Some years are better than others, and we just take them as they come. There’s no script for what we do; we just react to what the day brings. People around Sherpur know us, and we know them. It’s a small community, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to change the world; we’re just trying to keep our farms going and help each other out when the work gets too heavy for one person.
