Lochain Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Lochain, which is near the Sukhdehra post office in the Bhawarkalan area. It’s part of Mohammadabad Yusufpur in Ghazipur. Most people just know us as the local farmers from the village. We put together the Lochain Farmer Producer Company Limited to make our lives a bit simpler. When you farm alone, it’s hard to get anyone to listen to you. Together, we have a bit more of a voice. We don't have any polished speeches. We just talk about what’s happening in the fields. Ghazipur has its own challenges with the soil and the seasons. We spend most of our time dealing with the actual crops rather than sitting in an office. Our workspace is pretty basic, just a place to keep the tools and the registers. Sometimes it’s a bit disorganized, but we know where everything is. We aren't looking to expand across the country or anything crazy like that. We just want the people in Lochain and the nearby villages to have a better way to manage their farming. It’s a lot of manual labor and sometimes the results aren't what we hoped for, but that’s the nature of this work. We just keep going, season after season, doing the best we can with the land we have. Everyone here puts in the work and we hope it pays off for us in the end.
