We are based out in Shekhupur Hathwant, which is a bit of a trek if you aren’t from around Firozabad. Our office is basically at Kunvar Pal’s place. It’s a quiet area mostly, which is nice compared to the bigger cities. Lalaua Farmer Producer Company Limited is a group of us who decided to work together. We don’t have a big office building or a reception desk. Usually, we just meet up outside or in the main room. There’s always someone coming by to talk about the crops or the weather. We don’t use any fancy language here. It’s just talk about what needs to be done on the land. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to finish our work by candlelight or just wait for it to come back on. That’s just life in a rural area like this. We are all farmers ourselves so we know how it is. It’s hard work and your back hurts at the end of the day. We don't have a marketing budget or anyone to write pretty things about us. We just try to help each other out and keep things moving. 283203 is our postal code but most people just know the way by looking for the landmarks. It’s a simple life. We don't have any corporate polish, just muddy boots and a lot of patience for the seasons to change.
