Down in Garhi Bucha, near Aligarh, we have our company called Ladli Farmer Producer Company Limited. It is a local group of us who have lived in this part of Uttar Pradesh all our lives. Aligarh is known for many things, but for us, it is just home and where our fields are. We don't have a fancy office building, just a place in the village where we gather to handle the business side of things. Farming is hard work and it doesn't leave much time for anything else. We formed this group to help each other out with things like buying supplies and selling what we grow. It is better than doing it all alone. Sometimes the paperwork feels like too much, but we are getting through it. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable one for our members. The day usually starts very early before it gets too hot. We spend most of our time looking at the sky and hoping for rain at the right time.
