K.P AUTOMATIONS

If you walk through B Block in Sector 8, you will find us at B-61. This part of the sector is always buzzing with people moving stuff around. At K.P AUTOMATIONS, our space is filled with wires, control panels, and a lot of small electronic components that get everywhere if you aren't careful. It’s not the biggest unit, but it fits what we do. We spend a lot of time hunched over benches, soldering things or trying to figure out why a circuit isn't doing what it is supposed to. The lighting is bright because you need to see the tiny labels on the parts. Sometimes the smell of burnt solder stays in the air all afternoon. We don’t really have a sales team or anything like that. It’s mostly just us working on the orders as they come in. Sector 8 can get quite congested, so getting parts delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just deal with it. Most days involve testing sensors or assembling boxes that eventually go into bigger factory systems. It is quiet work compared to a machine shop, but it requires a lot of sitting still. We have a small kettle for making tea when the afternoon slump hits. We have been in this spot for some time, and the neighbors are all doing similar stuff. It’s just a normal place where we try to do a decent job every day.
