Over here in Rohinyava, specifically at Katgharakadipur, you will find the office for Himanshu Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. It is situated at Triveni Prasad’s place, which is easy enough to find if you ask anyone in the village. We started this because we wanted a way to keep things organized for the local growers. It is not a shiny office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular building with some desks and a lot of fans running to keep the heat away. We spend our days looking at the crops and talking about how to get a better handle on the market. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with papers everywhere and people coming in and out at all hours. We don't really follow a strict schedule like they do in the city. If there is work to be done, we do it, and if it is a holiday, we might still be here if the crops need attention. We call ourselves Himanshu Agro, but to most people around here, we are just the group that meets at Triveni’s. It is a very practical setup, focused on the day-to-day reality of farming. There are no big speeches or grand plans, just a lot of small steps to keep things moving forward for everyone involved in the group. We deal with the dirt and the seeds, and that is what really matters at the end of the day.
