Green Grow Genetics Limited is based in Lucknow, over in Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar. Even though we are in a more developed part of the city at D-2/29, we still have our roots in the ground. We work with seeds and genetics, trying to find what grows best. It’s a lot of trial and error. We aren't scientists in white coats; we are more like folks who have spent too much time looking at plants. Lucknow 226010 is a busy place, and our office reflects that. There are always papers moving and people coming in to talk about the latest varieties. We don't have a polished corporate look. The chairs don't match and the tea is usually strong. We just want to make sure the stuff we produce actually works for the farmers who use it. It is a slow process to see results, but we are patient. We handle the paperwork and the technical bits so the growers don't have to worry as much. Most days are spent checking on samples or talking to suppliers. It is a practical business in a fast-growing city. We just stay focused on our little niche in Gomti Nagar. We aren't trying to change the world overnight, just trying to provide something useful for the local agricultural community. It’s hard work and the results aren't always perfect, but we keep trying. We have been here for a while and we know the local climate well enough to know what works.
