We are located in a place called Hayatnagar, which is over in the Sultanpur district. Sushma Yadav is the one who handles the paperwork and keeps things running for us. We are a farmer producer company, but that's just a fancy name for a group of neighbors who grow things together. We don't have a shiny office or any corporate staff. Our headquarters is just a regular building in the village where we store some of our records. In Sultanpur, we deal with all kinds of crops depending on what the weather allows. We don't have a marketing department or any big-city experts. We just rely on our own knowledge of the land. Most of us have been farming all our lives, so we know how to handle the ups and downs of the seasons. We started this group because it’s hard for a single farmer to get a good deal at the market. By working together, we can look out for each other. We don't have any slogans or mission statements. We just want to make sure we can support our families through our work. It’s a lot of physical labor and we are out in the sun most days. We don't use much technology, just the basic tools and our hands. If you are ever in Hayatnagar, you can find us easily.
