We’ve been running things at Dhirauli Babu Farmer Producer Company Limited for a while now. Our spot is located at number 02 in Dhirauli Babu, which is part of Amohara Khas in the Basti district. If you know the Harraiya area, you know it’s mostly just farms and small shops around here. The pincode is 272127. It isn't some high-tech office with a lobby or anything. It’s just a practical space where we handle the day-to-day business of the farmers in this neck of the woods. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, and we have to spend the morning cleaning off the desks before we can start. The weather in Basti can be really something else, especially when the monsoon hits and the roads get all muddy and difficult. We spend a lot of time just talking to the local folks about what they’re growing this season. It’s a lot of back and forth, honestly. We don't have a big team, just a few of us trying to keep the records straight and the produce moving. It gets a bit loud during the harvest because everyone is in a hurry and there’s a lot to do. We try to keep things simple. No one here wears a suit, that’s for sure. We’re usually just in our regular clothes, dealing with whatever comes up that day. It’s an honest way to spend time.
