You can find us over at Sector 5 in the Sharma Market area of Harola. Baba Garments Machine has been in this spot for a good bit of time. If you walk through the market, it is easy to miss us among all the other shops, but we are at 35/8. We spend most of our time looking at sewing machines and other gear used for making clothes. There is always a pile of parts on the workbench and some oil on someone's hands. It gets a bit cramped inside here because we have machines sitting everywhere, some are brand new and others are just old ones people brought in for us to look at. The noise of the market is always there in the background, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't the type to wear suits or sit in fancy chairs. We usually have our sleeves rolled up and we are busy with a screwdriver or a wrench. If you come by, you might see us testing out a machine to make sure the stitching is right. Harola is a busy place, and there are always people moving things back and forth on carts. We just keep our heads down and handle the work as it comes. It is a simple operation here. We know the machines inside and out, and we don't spend much time on anything else. It's just us, the tools, and the equipment that keeps the garment trade going.
