Anand Sewing Machine

Our shop is located at number 38 in Sector 5, right in the heart of the Sharma Market area. Harola is one of those places where someone is always making something, and Anand Sewing Machine fits right into that scene. We deal with all sorts of sewing gear and equipment. It is a pretty noisy neighborhood, but we have lived with that sound for a long time. Inside the shop, you will mostly smell machine oil and old dust. We have stacks of cardboard boxes and various machines lined up along the counters. Some are brand new and shiny, while others are half-taken apart for repairs. We spend a huge amount of our time with tools in our hands, taking things to bits and putting them back together. It is not what most people would call glamorous work, but folks around here need their machines to work so they can earn their daily living. We understand that well. We try to be fair with what we charge because we know how hard people work for their money. Sometimes a specific part is really tough to find, and we have to hunt around or wait for a shipment to arrive. We have seen the market change a lot over the years, but the basic need for a good, solid stitch stays the same. The shop is small, so it gets a bit crowded when customers arrive at once. We just keep working through the repairs.
