Akshitasahawar Farmer Producer Company Limited

Started out in Manikapurpost-Baznagar. We operate out of Mahendra Singh’s place. It’s a busy spot most mornings. People around here know where we are, right in the village. It isn’t a fancy office or anything like that. Just some rooms where we get the paperwork done and talk to the guys. Being a farmer producer company means we spend a lot of time out in the fields too. The weather hasn't been great lately, but we keep at it. Mostly it's just about getting the seeds and tools sorted out for everyone. We started this because things were getting hard for people to do on their own. Now we just share the load. It’s dusty and sometimes loud when the tractors go by. Mahendra keeps things running okay. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the land. You’ll usually find someone there if you stop by after the early chores are done. We don't use computers for everything, still have a lot of notebooks. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just sit outside and talk. That’s how things go in Manikapur. We are just trying to keep the farming going for the families here. Nothing more to it than that. It's hard work, but it's what we know. We are just local people trying to make the day-to-day work a little bit easier for everyone involved in the company.
