Being over in Sector-63 of Noida means we’re surrounded by factories and warehouses as far as you can see. Advanced Appliances is located at C-134, and it’s a pretty standard industrial plot. We have a lot of space for the inventory, which is good because things tend to pile up quickly. The floor is concrete and always has some scuff marks from the crates being moved around. It’s not a glamorous setup, just a lot of metal shelves and boxes. We spend our mornings checking what came in the night before and our afternoons getting things ready for the next day's delivery. The office part is just a small partitioned area with a couple of desks and a very old filing cabinet. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby; if someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the warehouse and shout for one of us. It gets really dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we’re always wiping down the desks. Most of the people working here have been in the appliance trade for years, so they know the machines inside and out. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated plans; we just look at what needs to be done and do it. It’s a tiring job sometimes, but there’s a good sense of accomplishment when the warehouse is empty at the end of the week.
