Prativa Residential College

Down on Tadepalli Street in Chatrapur, you will find our college. The location is quite close to the Jagannatha Temple, which is a busy spot during festival times. Since this is a residential place, it’s more than just a school. People live here, eat here, and spend their whole day in these buildings. The walls are thick and old, which helps keep the rooms a bit cooler when the Odisha sun is beating down. Much of our time is spent making sure the dorms are in good shape and the kitchen is running. It’s a lot of responsibility to look after everyone day and night, but the routine is familiar now. Most of the staff comes from around Chatrapur, so there is a real sense of community. Gadgets and high-tech equipment aren't really what we are about; the basics work just fine. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble because the pipes are old, but a quick call to the local plumber usually fixes it. Life here is quiet, focused on the daily schedule and making sure everyone is safe. Marketing isn't something we focus on. Staying true to our routine and keeping the place going for the students is what matters most to us. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years, and we enjoy the simple pace of life on Tadepalli Street. It’s a humble setup, but it’s our home and we take care of it as best we can.
