We are based out of Ganjam, specifically in the Digapahandi area on Pudamari Road. Our office is located at Plot No. 1119/1239. Maa Bankeswari Farmers Producer Companylimited started because the people around here needed a way to work together instead of everyone just doing their own thing. It's a pretty quiet spot most of the time, except for when the harvest is coming in and everyone is rushing. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of getting supplies and making sure the members have what they need for their land. The Ganjam weather can be tough, with too much rain or sometimes not enough, so we deal with that as it comes. It's not a big corporate operation with fancy suits. It's just a few of us in a small room with some desks and a lot of paper files. We talk to the local farmers every day, hearing about their crops and the prices they are seeing in the local markets. Sometimes things go well, and sometimes we have a bad year, but that's just how farming is. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the work that needs doing right here in Pudamari. People know where to find us if they need to talk. We have been here a while now and the office has become a meeting point for the folks around Digapahandi.
