Rising Power Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located in Chhatrapur, specifically in the 3rd lane of Bhagya Laxmi Nagar here in Ganjam. Our group is called Rising Power Farmer Producer Company Limited. It's mostly just a bunch of us local farmers who decided to get organized. Dealing with crops and markets on your own is getting harder every year. We started this to see if we could get things moving together. People around here know where we are, just a regular spot in the neighborhood. We spend most of our days talking about seeds, weather, and where to sell the harvest without losing money. It isn't anything fancy or corporate. Sometimes the office is a bit messy with paperwork and bags of samples, but that is just how it goes when you are actually working. There are many of us involved now from around the district. We share whatever equipment we have and try to help each other out when the rain doesn't come or when there is too much of it. It is honest work and we have been at it for a while. If you come by the 3rd lane, you will likely see a few of us sitting out front discussing the current prices or just complaining about the heat. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, which is farming. We hope to keep things going for the next generation so they don't have to struggle as much as we did when we started out.
