Our setup for Maa Bhagwati Jaivik Producer Companylimited is right at Simanchal Nayak’s house, number 12, over in Angaragaon. It's deep in the Ganjam district, and honestly, the roads can be a bit dusty depending on the season. Being a producer company means we deal with a lot of local folks and their crops. It's not a fancy office building, just a place where we sit down and figure out the farming side of things for the village. Beguniapada is where we do most of our running around. We started this because there was a need to get everyone organized. It’s mostly just sitting around a table, talking about seeds or what the weather is doing to the harvest lately. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just work by the window light until it comes back. It isn't always smooth, and we have our share of disagreements about how to manage the records, but we get there in the end. Simanchal’s place is a good landmark for people in the village. We’ve got stacks of notebooks and ledgers sitting everywhere. It’s hard work, and the sun in Ganjam doesn't play around. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re from some big city office. We’re just people from the soil trying to make the producer company work for everyone involved. It takes a lot of patience. Some days are slow, while other days everyone is talking at once. That's just how it is.
