Ganjam Gruhini Producer Company Limited

We are located in the DRDA office building over in Chatrapur. Ganjam Gruhini Producer Company Limited is a local group made up of women from around the district. Being in the government building means we are right in the middle of things, which is helpful. It’s not a fancy private office with soft carpets or anything. It’s just a standard room with some old desks where we gather to talk about our work. Most of us are more comfortable in the fields than in an office, but we come here to handle the side of the business that requires pens and paper. We don't have any big corporate goals that sound like they belong in a magazine. We just want to make sure that the women who are part of this producer company are getting a fair deal for what they grow and make. It is a lot of hard work, and sometimes we disagree on how to do things, but we always figure it out in the end. Chatrapur is a decent place to be based, and people know where to find us. We don’t spend money on advertising or anything like that because everyone around here already knows who we are. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done. It is a plain and simple operation, and that is exactly how we like it.
