Our place, known simply as "Yes," is located right near the Camp Masjid in the Sadar Camp area of Bhuj. Being in Kutch, we are used to the dry air and the busy atmosphere of the local markets. The Masjid is a big landmark, so most people don't have a hard time finding where we are. The office is just a small room with the essentials we need to run our daily business. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big sign out front. It’s a bit dusty because of the winds coming off the plains, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. The sounds of the market and the calls from the Masjid are part of our daily background. We usually see a lot of people passing by on their way to pray or shop. Most of the work we do here is face-to-face, talking to locals and visitors who stop by with questions or for help. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, without much reliance on fancy technology. We have a couple of chairs for guests and a sturdy table where we keep our logs. It feels like a community hub more than a strict business. We don’t follow a corporate schedule; we just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished for the day. It's a simple, honest spot in a very old and lively part of Bhuj.
