Holiday Village Resort

Holiday Village Resort is out here in Gandhidham. It’s a big space in Kutch. We spend our days making sure the grounds look okay and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. It’s not like those big city hotels where everything is stiff and formal. Here, things are a bit more relaxed. We have trees and some open space which is nice because it gets quite hot in Gujarat. People come here to get away for a day or two. The staff lives nearby mostly, so we all know the area well. We handle the laundry, the cleaning, and the food. Sometimes the wind blows the sand around, so we’re always sweeping the paths. It’s a lot of walking back and forth between the buildings. We don’t have some big corporate office telling us what to do every minute. We just know what needs to be done to keep the place running. If a lightbulb goes out or a tap leaks, we just go fix it. It's practical work. The kitchen stays busy with local dishes that people around here like. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when there's a big group staying over. We just keep our heads down and work. It's just a resort in a quiet corner of Gandhidham where things move a bit slower. In the evenings, the air cools down a bit and that’s when the place feels best. We usually sit for a minute before the dinner rush starts. It's a good place to work if you like being outdoors and don't mind getting your hands dirty.
