Khavda Travels

Khavda Travels is located right across from the Old Court in Gandhidham, at Plot No. 52 in Sector 1-A. It’s a convenient spot for people to find us when they’re planning a trip or need to book a bus. The office is small and usually smells like tea because we’re always having a cup while we talk to customers. We’ve got some old maps on the walls and a desk that’s seen better days. Dealing with travel can be a bit chaotic, especially when schedules change or a bus gets delayed. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking on routes and talking to drivers. People come in and out all day asking about ticket prices or the best way to get across Kachchh. We don't have any fancy booking software; it’s mostly just us and our ledgers and a computer that’s a bit slow. We try to be honest about the travel times because the roads around here aren't always great. If a vehicle is in the shop for repairs, we tell people straight up. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll often see one of us eating lunch at the back desk. We aren't trying to be a giant travel agency. We just want to help folks get from one place to another without too much trouble. It’s a steady job and we like meeting all the different people who walk through the door.
