Jk Glass Emporium

Jk Glass Emporium is situated near the Coal Siding on Station Road in Murli Nagar. We are right by the railway line, so the whole shop vibrates a little whenever a heavy train goes past. It’s a bit of a loud and gritty area, but it suits us just fine. We have a lot of space here for all the different glassware we keep. People in Murli Nagar have been coming to us for a long time whenever they need jars or larger glass items. The shop has an old-school feel to it, with things stacked up pretty high on the shelves. It’s not one of those modern stores with bright lights. My father started this place years ago, and I have just carried it on. We don't really use the internet or do any marketing. We just open up in the morning and see who comes by. Usually, it’s local contractors or folks living nearby who need something specific. Station Road can get really messy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time just keeping the entrance clear. It is a very basic operation. We sell glass and we help people load it up. There isn't any fancy talk here. We just know our stock and we know the neighborhood. Being near the railway line means there is always something going on outside, and we have just become part of the scenery around here. It’s a simple life and a simple business.
