New Bright Glass Works

So, New Bright Glass Works is located in Suhag Nagar, right there in Sector 2 near the B.E.S. Company. It’s easy to find if you know the area. We’ve been here a while now, just cutting glass and doing whatever comes through the door. It’s a bit of a dusty job, but someone has to do it. The shop is small, and we mostly focus on window glass and mirrors. You’ll see us mostly working on the cutting table. My dad used to run things, but now I’m handling more of the day-to-day stuff with a few guys from the neighborhood. It’s a local operation. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just walk in when they need a piece of glass for a broken frame or a bathroom renovation. The floor is usually covered in small scraps, so we have to sweep every hour or so. The noise from the street is constant, especially being so close to the company nearby. Sometimes the trucks block our entrance, but we make it work. It’s not a glamorous life, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We take our time with the measurements because if you mess up by a millimeter, the whole piece is useless. That’s just the reality of working with glass. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next customer to show up. It is a quiet life mostly, and we like it that way.
