About Gupta Glass House – Building & Construction Material in Firozabad
We have been sitting here at Gupta Glass House on Agra Road for quite some time now. If you know the area near the Jain Mandir, you probably passed by us many times without thinking much of it. It’s a busy spot. There is always a lot of noise from the road and the dust gets on everything, so we spend a good chunk of our mornings just wiping down the glass sheets. Dealing with glass isn't as easy as people think. It’s heavy, it’s sharp, and if you lose focus for even a second, something breaks. We’ve had our fair share of accidents over the years, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. We’ve got stacks of clear glass, mirrors, and some patterned stuff leaning against the walls. It gets really hot in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, but we just keep the fan going and carry on with the work. Most of the people who come in are locals from the neighborhood or builders who need a quick replacement for a broken window. We don’t really do much advertising. People just know we are here. Sometimes the kids from the street play nearby and we have to tell them to watch out for the edges. It’s a simple life, mostly just cutting glass to size and making sure it gets loaded onto the rickshaws safely. We try to keep things organized, but it's a battle.
