Gupta Glass House

Gupta Glass House is located at 345 Jain Mandir over by the Agra Gate. This is an older part of the city, so the streets are narrow and there is always a lot of local life happening right outside our front door. Being near the Jain Mandir means we hear the temple bells throughout the day, which is actually quite nice when things get stressful. The shop itself is pretty small and packed with all sorts of glass pieces. We don't have a lot of room for fancy displays, so everything is stacked up wherever it fits. It is a bit of a maze inside, but we know exactly where every single item is kept. Most of our neighbors are other small shops and families who have lived here for generations. We spend a lot of time chatting with people who stop by, and it is a very local kind of atmosphere. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of glass and a few of us trying to keep it all organized. In the summer, it gets very hot in this part of town, so we keep the fans going at full blast all day. We do not have a big team or a human resources department. It is just a family-run sort of place where everyone chips in with whatever needs doing. If the rain comes down hard, we have to move some things back from the door to keep them dry. It is just everyday life for us.
