The Holyfield International School

Our school is situated in Ramapur Village. Specifically, we are near the Ramapur Post Office in the Pawai Block. If you know where the Kasi Gomti Samyut Gramin Bank is, we are right by there. This is in the Phoolpur Tehsil area. It’s a bit of a rural setting, which is nice because there’s plenty of space. The school building stands out a bit in the village. We have kids coming in from all around the Pawai Block. Some walk, some come on bikes. The bank nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. Inside, we have different rooms for the different grades. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the students, but they show up pretty consistently. We have a staff room where the teachers gather to grade papers and have their tea. The playground is quite large since we are out in the village. It gets used a lot during the afternoons. We try to keep the grass cut, but it grows fast when it rains. The atmosphere is generally quiet compared to the city, except when school is letting out. Then it’s a lot of shouting and bicycles. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s a steady place. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, but we have what’s necessary. It’s just a school in Ramapur where kids come to learn their lessons and see their friends every single day of the week.
