Soram Inter College

Soram Inter College is located out in Soraon, which is part of the Allahabad district. The address is simply Soram Allahabad, Soraon - 212502. It’s a bit further out from the main city, so things feel a little different here. The air is maybe a bit clearer, and there is more space around the buildings. We are an intermediate college, so we have students finishing up their last years of schooling. The campus is spread out enough that it doesn't feel too cramped. Most of our students come from the surrounding villages and the Soraon area itself. It is a long-standing institution in this part of Allahabad. People know the name Soram Inter College well. We don't have all the high-tech gadgets you might find in a city school, but we have what is necessary for teaching. The desks are old, and the walls might need a bit of paint, but the classrooms are always full. It’s a practical place where students focus on their exams. The staff lives nearby or travels in from the city. We keep a simple routine every day. There isn't much fuss or bother here. It’s a place where the community gathers for more than just classes sometimes. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and helping the local youth. It’s been that way for many years now and we just keep going day by day with the work we have to do.
