The Atrium Hotel Faridabad

The Atrium Hotel is located at 45B in Shyam Nagar, which is over in the Palwal area of Faridabad. It is a pretty straightforward building where we have rooms for people to sleep in. We don't have any of those shiny brochures you see in big cities. We just have our sign out front and the address. Most of the folks who stay with us are just regular people looking for a place to put their bags down for a night or two. Being in Shyam Nagar, we get a mix of local travelers and people who are here for some business in Palwal. The day starts with checking the laundry and making sure there is enough tea and coffee for the morning. It can get a bit loud outside with the street noise, but that is just part of living and working in this part of Faridabad. We have a small desk where we check people in and out. Sometimes the computer takes a minute to load the bookings, but we eventually get it sorted. We spend a lot of time talking to the delivery guys and making sure the supplies like soap and towels are stocked up. It is not a fancy life, but it keeps us busy. We have been at this 45B spot for a while, and the neighbors all know us. It is just a local hotel run by local people who live around here.
