Executive Assistant

We are based in Baba Surdaas Colony, specifically at House Number 379 on Tilpat Road. To get to us, you have to go down Gali Number 20 in the Sarai Khwaza area of Faridabad. It is a very local neighborhood, the kind of place where everyone knows their neighbors and what they are up to. We work as executive assistants from this small office. It is basically just a room with a few desks, some landline phones, and a printer that occasionally jams. The street outside is always lively with people going about their business and the sound of horns. We handle a lot of the boring stuff for other people, like typing up letters and keeping track of their calendars. It is not a high-profile job, but it is important for the people we help. The office doesn't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that spins fast enough to keep the air moving. We have some old folders stacked in the corner because we haven't gotten around to moving them to storage yet. The lighting is okay, though we have to use desk lamps in the evening. It’s a very modest place and we don't put on any acts. We just do the work as it comes in and try to stay on top of the messages. It is a practical way to earn a living in a part of town we know well.
