You can find us in Ballabhgarh at house number 1574. We spend most of our time surrounded by instruments and the sound of people trying to get their notes right. Music is just what we do here every day. It’s a small place, and it often gets filled with the sound of singing or someone practicing the harmonium or tabla. We don't have a big stage or professional recording studios. It’s just a room where people come to learn and play together. Sometimes it sounds great, and other times it’s just a lot of noise while someone is still learning a new raga, but that is all part of the charm. We’ve been here in Ballabhgarh for a long time and many kids from the neighborhood have come through our doors to learn their first songs. It’s not a fancy academy with uniforms and strict rules. We just sit together on the floor and work on the music. It’s a way for us to keep the local traditions going and give people something creative to do with their time. We don't really do any advertising or social media. People just hear the music when they walk by or their neighbors tell them about us. It’s a simple life focused on rhythm and melodies. We just open up the doors, let the students in, and start the day’s practice. Music keeps the neighborhood alive for us.
